Out of sheer stupidity, I pushed in the locking clasp (hook? mechanism?) on the passenger side rear door. It's the thing that hooks around the stud on the driver's side rear door. I thought, oh sure, there's gotta be a way to release it. But the joke is on me ha ha because I can't figure it out.

It's a 2004 Astro Cargo van. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Got it. Took off the four-screw panel, pulled on the rod and ka ching.
