cant c shift indicator

cant c shift indicator

or the odometer without pressing the trip button and i mean HARD,anybody had this problem?Or it this a common thing w/ this year Its a 99w/5.3. I jumped another guys post earlier for that I apoligize.

Make sure the dimmer, next to the headlight switch, isn't dialed down all the way.

aint the dimmer sw.tried dat.also i cant c the shift ind.at any time
