Changing coolant
I have a 2004 6.0l 2500 Silverado. I want to change the coolant. The question being, how do I get the new coolant into the radiator? There is no cap on the radiator. the overflow bottle has a pressure cap on it. Do I pour the new coolant into the top hose and then run and adjust level from there?

After draining old coolant and flushing out radiator add new GM approved coolant thru overflow bottle. Thats the best way to refill the radiator. I usually drain rad by the lower rad hose and also undo a heater hose to flush it out. Secure all hoses and refill.
