1. pull back on the signal lever all the way toward you/hold while performing next steps
2. put ignition in off/turn key to on/return to off/ hear locks switch lock-unlock
3. now you can program door locks/have 10 seconds to do so
4. press lock side of the lock switch once/turn automatic feature on/all door locks lock/none will unlock; do same twice/turn automatic feature to off/no locks will lock-unlock/auto unlocking will not work until auto locking is turned off.
press the unlock side of the lock switch on the door once to unlock the driver's door and lock all other doors
do same twice to unlock all the doors. all doors lock-unlock. this is factory setting
do the same 3 times to turn off the automatic door lock feature, no doors will lock-unlock.

turninf key toon exits mode.

dude, maybe i just need to copy you those pages. i, personally, am lost. but it's obvious someone has modified your auto door locks settings. pretty much, you want to turn auto feature to off/recycle ignition/turn it back to on, as factory preset is lock after 15 mph/unlock when key's pulled out.

sorry, my bad. they are not supposed to unlock. you have to shut down engine for locks to unlock. you are good if you are just in P.

LOL that's exactly what I was thinking! It's prolly the easiest fix. The button's what, less than two feet away? It is in arm's reach.
