code 32 issues....
i went from having a code 32 thrown at me every time i drove more than 15 miles on the highway but i did a smoke test with a cigar and noticed the map sensor was leaking so i replaced it with the o'reilly special.
recently i drove it across state and it finally threw the code 32 at about 200 miles but went away.
but still there is no power. its not smoking or dying on me, it just bogs down a bit when im going like 30 to 60. lots of power from 65-100 though. doesnt smell rich or anything and shifting from 2nd to 3rd is a little slow and feels like the transmission isnt grabbing completely if i give it more throttle in low gear. ive also noticed that the engine runs a little warmer than usual but never overheats and gets cooler eventually. idles smoothly when warm.
ive replaced egr valve and solenoid from the dealership. map sensor (twice), both temp sensors, spark plugs, injectors. i also swapped the entire throttle body with a spare one thinking the gaskets could be bad but it made no change.
could a bad catalytic converter cause this? maybe low compression? agh so frustrating. this is a 92 chevy silverado 5.7. thanks for reading
