Got it! Look at the tires on that beast! Woo!

I just realized where it's from, too... It's got Wyoming plates! Maybe I'll see it on my way to picking up my truck!!

So I drove 3 hours today to go take a look at it and see what all I'll need to get done on it... It's going to be a good little project.

1) Has a 3" body lift, not 4" suspension lift. Looks alright, but serves no purpose at all, imo.

2) WAS an automatic, now has a 4 speed OD tranny with the shifter and everything, but has no clutch put in yet.

3) Needs all new wiring. COMPLETELY; motor, cab, lights, everything.

4) Needs a new front and rear driveshaft, along with a new transfer case. This is going to be a fun search since the front axle looks to be a early 70's model Dana 60 and the rear is some mystery axle like I've never seen.

5) No interior at all. No plastic on the dash; it's in it, but all the mounts are broken up and the plastic covers are sitting on the seat that also has a twisted bracket.

6) Has no grill, radiator or master cylinder. Can't quite figure out why, but they're missing.

7) Tail lights and tail gate have also vanished.

8) For some reason there's a 4"x4" hole in the front of the hood right over the latch. The hood is also slightly bigger than the original one apparently and isn't bolted on or anything.

9) Dad apparently started painting it, but never finished like most things he does. About 80% of it is a flat pewter color with a light sparkle clear coat. It looks fricken AWESOME, but the inside is the original red color and the hood is an ugly light blue color. He no longer has the paint he used so I have to either try to re-match it or paint over the whole thing like I originally planned.

And finally 10) There's a squirrel nest in the air filter. It's one of the big circle ones, my mind is blanking from the long day right now, but he had set a piece of cardboard over it and when I lifted the cardboard there was a whole big pile of what used to be the cusioning in my seat all shredded up with pieces of pine cone scattered everywhere.

Looks like I've got my work cut out for me, and it's a little more of a project than I was originally planning, but I think it'll be well worth the $1500 for it. Heck, the 33's on it are worth what I'm paying for the whole truck! They're BRAND NEW! Still have the mold fingers on them and everything

I'm a big fan of White, but many of the brighter colors already suggested would keep you from getting lost in the sauce.

The real question is how you're going to keep that stylin' paint job in good shape in the mud.
