Hello all I have a new to me 06 silverado Z71 offroad ext cab that I just got on sat. And my problem that I have is the frame is cracked starting from the bump stop and goes back to about the middle of the frame for about 6-8". Is there anything that I can do to repair the crack myself or should I take it to a well known welder

If you can weld really good then you should be able to fix it, but I'd honestly take it somewhere
