I have a stock k1500 with a 5.7 and i cracked the intake manifold while trying to change the heater hose connector behind the tbi and i was wondering if there are any pros to getting a edelbrock 3704 intake manifold as opposed to saving money and getting one from pullapart?

 

Your truck will breath better, which means more power. These units are lighter than stock, unless yours was already aluminum. If absolutely nothing else, it will look cooler!!
