Default custom ORY pipe?

I have the Texas speed stainless ORY but after my tranny being removed and put back in its bent a bit and now I can't get the pipes on all the way and its leaking some now. How hard would it be to buy flanges and weld to the headers to make it easier to remove and out back on? So it would be a flange to flange see up off the headers then bolt up to the stock pipe flange?

Shouldn't be hard at all if you can weld

Yeah I'm not a fan of the clamps. I welded my whole exhaust setup. Didn't want the clamps to come loose and have leaks!

I don't want leaks either but if you weld the whole thing then you can't remove any of it very easy if you need to service the transmission or anything else. Seems like that would make it hard to remove or reinstall the headers if needed too seeing how the whole y pipe would be attached.

Not endorsing any one vendor, this one came up first.

They clamp the pipes together just as well. "Better" in the way that you can still take your pipes apart because they don't crimp them at all like conventional clamps do.

So those clamps work for pipes that are the same OD size? Wouldn't work on pipes that overlap each other?

There are different kinds.... ones that are stepped in size (2 different diameters) for a slip joint, and ones that are flat for a same OD butt joint.
