Default Dash Lighting

05 2500 6.0. I have no back lights on several buttons on the radio, several are out on heater selector (floor panel) Temp selector slides. Does anybody know if this are connected together or are they burnt out. If out what is the easiest way to fix them without removing the dash. It is only the lights as all the buttons work. Thanks for the help

Each of the lights are soldered into place individually. To fix it you have to remove the cover plate on the radio which may require the radio to be removed from the dash. The bulbs need to be un-soldered and replaced with new bulbs. You can find replacements at Radio Shack.

Thanks. Does this also apply to other lights that are not working such as the Temp Slides and such. Can you tell how you access them from the front of the dash

The dash bezel will pop right out fairly easily with a little pull on one of the corners. You will have to move the shift lever to the lowest gear and lower the steering wheel as much as possible to get the bezel out. The temp control unit can than be removed and the cover taken off, the ***** should just pull straight off. Here is a link if you still need bulbs and the picture included may help give you an idea of what you are looking at too
