my dash lights are out ever since my gf screwed around with the light switch. what can i do to fix this as it is really annoying at night!

It is possible that a fuse may have blown. Look at the silver-colored band inside the fuse. If the band is broken or melted, replace the fuse. Be sure you replace a bad fuse with a new one of the identical size and rating.

Please review your owner's manual to find the proper fuse(s). This information is available on pages 6-71 through 6-79.

If this is not the cause of the problem, I encourage you to take the vehicle in for an inspection. A certified technician will be able to offer a more accurate diagnosis after a physical inspection.

any chance she just turned the dimmer all the way down?

 

the fuse is fine and the dimmer switch s fine as well i know that much. i can only turn my dash lights on by turning the dimmer switch just before the intrior light comes on then i have dash lights what a pain in my *** at night i tell ya!

thats what i was thinking too. now should i get brand new or just get one out of a scrap yard. im thinking that the scrap yard would be just fine so long as it works
