Default Daytime running lights

My lights do not come on any more when I start my 1996 1500 305 4#4. The indicator light on the dash is on. Any clue?

Doesyour vehicleuse the headlights for DRL ?

For example on my 00 Express van the DRL were the high beams on reduced current. You could in that case check to see if the high beams work as well... they may be burned out.

I had problems with the DRL on my van and turned out to be the module.

These lights are very suseptable to vibration and an a/c current. These bulbs burn out all the time. I've always had GM's and trade them every year, i don't think i've ever traded a vehicle with working DRL's

a/c current from where ????

Lamps will work on A/C or D/C it doesn't matter which. If you take an automotive bulb hooked up to 12 v A/C it will work just fine.
