Default DIC Addition

I have a 2009 Silverado Texas Edition, can the DIC controls be added on the steering wheel, I would like to see the avg. fuel ecomony.

They can be added but they wind up on the dash. On the left for a lt or similar dash or on the right for an LTZ. I bought the nedded parts from the internet $84. About ten minutes and you have all the options then you find yourself looking at it all the time for a few weeks!

Is there a different wiring harness?, I pulled the panel off and it has a harness for the light switch and one for the dome light, I didn't see any other harness, Thanks, Ken.
