I have a 2010 Silverado 1500 and would like to install the camera and the Gentex mirror. My current mirror is already wired for this. Do I still need to run the wires all the way under the truck or is there a module in the back that I can plug the connector from the camera into?

 

It sounds like it's already wired up for everything. You can take a look pretty easily to see if the connector for the camera is there and it should answer your question.

 

You will still have to run the cable for the camera. Be sure to hook camera power to accessory, not reverse. Reverse is only for the mirror (tells it when to turn on).
