Default Do I need weight????

I had a Jeep Wrangler for the last 4 years and an S-10 before that. With the S-10 it wasn't 4x4 so I would add some weight in the back when it snowed.

What are opinions on adding weight for a fullsize 4x4 when driving in snow/ice????

well inless your in 10+ maybe even 15+ inches of snow you dont need weight in a 4x4.. a few years ago we had 10+ inches and we had 20-30 mph winds my truck went right thru it... we have never had to use any weights.. just my little 2 cents tho. lol

An unexpected patch of snow or ice will have the same effect on a 4x4 in rear-drive mode as it would on a 4x2.
