Default door hadles

My 2006 silverado was broke into last week.I just put a alarm system in.And I also bought a new non locking door handle for the drivers side.Does anybody know how to install them?

You will need to switch the clip, from the old handle, to the new one, for it to work. Also, the bolt, closest to the access hole, in the door jam, will be 1/2 in lower. Just bend the edge flat, at that bolt, and it will tighten. Start the nut, on the bolt, slide the door handle in position, and tighten it through the access hole, with an open-end wrench. (10 mm?) Also, disconnect the lock rod, from the door latch, so it does not rattle, in your door. Check out http://www.trucksecurity.com and http://www.autoguard.usfor more security ideas.
