Default Drive Shaft Problems

We replaced all 3 U-Joints, and the carrier bearing. We made it about 25 miles from the house and started hearing something, crawled under and the ring inside the bearing had came out, so we put a hose clamp on and started back to the house, 25 or so miles later, we dropped the back drive shaft. We had a friend bring us another u-joint. put it in along with the inside locks. The drive shaft shook quite abit, so we replaced the carrier bearing hoping that was the problem. It still shakes when we get to about 30mph. I was wondering which drive shafts would fit. The truck is a 2wd ext cab with a long bed and 5 speed. Does the one we get to replace it have to come from the same body/tranny style? Any help will be appreciated.

A joint that is too tight will give the same symptom as one that is too loose.

Always back the joint up after installing to make sure it is "floppy loose".

The bad thing is that it took about 3 trips to the parts store to get the right joints, the front joint is for 1/2 ton and the back 2 joints are 3/4 ton.
