Okay well I was working on changing my blinker bulbs out with some led ones so I left my hid's on and when I went to start my truck it wouldn't start so I jumped it and now it starts just fine just the battery light is on and it's driving me nuts!? Any suggestions? I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 btw.

 

If you have a scan tool; check for body dtc.
Post the code

If you can't retrieve body codes do conventional charging system diagnosis.
Load test the battery
Check any mega fuses on the positive battery post/cable, if present
Load the charging system and check alternator output amps and volts.
