engine oil reset

Hi grubbs11,
Welcome to the Chevy Forums.
After you change your oil and filter, before starting the vehicle, set the ignition to the "RUN" position.
Rapidly push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times.(3 times in less than 10 seconds)
When you start the vehicle, the DIC should post "OIL LIFE RESET" .

i dont know about your truck. mines a 97. but on my wifes 05 oddessy u have to turn the key to the on position and push the select **** until the oil life is shown. then you have to hold the **** in for 10 seconds until the oil life is flashing. let the **** go and push it back in for another 5 seconds and hers will reset. i hope this may help. good luck
