ive been working on my 98 1500 for 2yrs making it my dream truck. is it possible to swap my stock 350 with a 6.6 duramax?

 

It is very possible. I think a good place to get info would be from banks. But a basic rundown of what you need is, the engine, tranny, transfer if 4x4, computer, wiring harness, engine mounts, tranny mount, possibly a crossmember, driveshaft, radiator. The easiest way to do a swap like that is to find a donor truck. It's cheaper too.
