Default First chevy truck, factory remote start

I just bought a 07 silverado 4x4 ltz, the factory remote start sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I noticed it runs for 5 minutes and doesn't turn on anything else but the truck, can it be changed of it is what it is.

hey it should turn on either your heat in winter or your ac in summer, but it depends in the temperature inside your truck at the time. also the temperature is displayed in your rear view mirror and park lights but no radio or anything else, and it will run for ten mins.

Default issues resoved

I took it to the dealership, they updated the remote start. It works good, but they should make it where you can start it in the vehicle and a longer run time.

The factory remote will start the vehicle and run it for 10 minutes before shutting off. You can only start it twice. Is there any way to extend this time limit?
