Default fuel problem

hey bowtie guys having some troubble with my 2000 silverado v6 its cutting in and out when i drive fule wise and i replced the fuel filter and fuel pump, and its still cutting in and out and i have a check engine light on that says its the fuel pump so any suggestons would be awsome thanks again

Possibly fuel pressure regulator is bad. How long ago was fuel pump changed and did you use a Delco or Delphi pump? The others are cheap and usually do not last long.

I had a similar problem. Turned out to be a bad alternator belt. My car acted exactly how you are describing yours is acting. Sputtering, not taking off like no gas was getting to the carb, it would die at intersections. You name it. Did a tune up, fuel filter, went through the carb, nothing changed. Then the belt broke on my kid as she was heading to the store. Changed the belt and no more issues at all. None..

what is the code. I never heard of a code for a fuel pump.
