Truck is hard to start at first, starts quickly at 2nd attempt. Fuel pressure gauge shows ~20 psi when the key is first turned on; get 50 psi after turning key off and then on again. However, pressure drops quickly to ~10 psi as soon as you hear the pump turn off. So, we'll replace the fuel pump assembly (the gauge is erratic, not accurate at upper 1/2 of tank volume).

Any recommendations on pump assembly mfr - Carter? Delphi? Anyone know what GM uses - I've heard it was Delphi.

I go with ac delco or DELPHI

 

I think GM does use Delphi probably what I would go with.
