Fuel pump may run after key is off?
Just started recently...moved truck(4.3) in driveway, shut off and proceeded to get out and I hear the pump running...what the heck!
jump in, cycle ign. and she turns off. My 1st thought is ignition switch...? 98' C-1500, 150k.

my truck is a 98 c1500 and sometimes the fuel pump will stay running for maybe 4 seconds after i get out. my dads done it, ive always thought it was so its got pressure built for the next start. but, it could possibly also be the relay for the pump.
