how can I get better gas mileage on my 6 liter chevy 4x4. tire pressure is kept at 30 pounds and well maintained.

doing a blackbear tune will give u extra power and more MPG..a good set of acdelco plugs and wires. laying off the gas peddle is a good 1 for MPG lol

 

I get aproximately 13.2 MPG with mine. If you don't have a tonneau cover, I'd get one, get a high flow filter, be it a cold air intake, or a K&N drop in filter, change the plugs and wires, and depending how serious you are, you can look at a custom tuning...

 

33000 miles on it have tonneau on it. maybe it`s not broke in yet.

 

What are you getting for MPG?

 

I was getting 12mpg with mine. I put a CAI, cat back exhaust, and a Blackbear tune, now I'm getting close to 15. Can't expect much more than that.
