i have an 05 silverado 1500 dash lights on security light on battery gauge not working blows mbec1 fuse under hood i replaced battery alternator ignition switch cylinder n key.mechanic said it was ignition switch.after replacing everything was fine for less than a day
replaced mbec1 fuse truck starts but wont run.put blown fuse back in truck runs fine but every light is on again.....i have no power seats no door locks windows or seat heaters radio doesnt work either.
can someone help before i go broke and insane......

p.s. the truck is an 05 silverado z71 1500 5.3ltr flex fuel 4x4 ext cab automatic with just about power everything

 

Sounds like you have a short in all of that wiring. A good automotive electric shop can probably trace it down much quicker than looking for it yourself.
