so i did the quarter mod, which you put a quarter in your fuel pressure regulator, and it is amazing. actually found something that woke up my old 305 tbi. 0-60 times were cut down a 1/3 of the time and has amazing throttle response. what other really cheap mods out there that i can do to my truck?

quarter mod, K&N filter with custom ram intake, cat-back straight pipe, MSD coil, and 350 injectors

 

until today when it blew the injector pod gasket out. took quarter out and it was really bent up. gonnna make an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and hook up a pressure gauge so i can keep taps on it

 

They make aftermarket adjustable ones, on the marine TBI's they run the fuel pressure at 30 psi +-2,i think thats the pressure the big blocks run with TBI setup i think the stock small block pressure 9-12psi

 

stock fuel pressure on my tbi is 14 psi. i think if i had gotten a better seal on my gasket it would have held better but i'm just going to wait until i get more money to do other things to the motor
