Question Grinding when putting in 4wd

Hey guys, I am trying to find out what is going on with my 07 Silverado Classic. I have only 33,XXX miles on the truck and now it's grinding when I put it in 4wd. This is so frustrating. The warranty was up after 30,000 miles so what the hell can I do? I wish this would have happened about 5,000 miles ago so it was covered with no worries.

Does anyone know what could be the problem? I did have my front and rear differentials drained/refilled and the front had some shavings in it. I never heard ANY grinding until I rolled out of the auto shop that changed the fluids and then it was grinding like crazy. (tons of snow so I had it in 4wd before I pulled into the shop, so when I drove it out it was obviously in 4wd) Should I go back to them? Should I go to the dealer? Please help if you can. Thanks
