Hey guys so I'm having an issue with my truck. I have a 2001 silverado 5.3 and I recently installed pace setter longtube headers, the problem that I'm having is just like the title states, the headers get so hot that theyre messing up my plug wires and causing the truck to misfire. I've heard to get 90 degree wires, I've also heard to just buy sleeves. I was thinking about getting msd wires since they're "high quality" but I don't want to spend $100 and have them get fried. What do you guys reccomend? Thanks

 

We used to use wire looms in the old days to guide the wires away from the exhaust headers. i think they are still available today.
