Exclamation Heated Seat Problem

Im having some problems with my heated seats and was woundering if anyone here might be able to help. I have a 2003 Silverado ext cab with all the bells and whistles. The heated seats have been working fine up until a couple of days ago. I can turn the drivers side on and not have any problems but if i turn on the passenger side on they both kick off. I was thinking the problem might have been with the passenger side seat but if I turn the passenger side on i have no problems until i turn on the drivers side. then they both kick off

Default Having the same problem

I know it has been a long time but did you ever find a solution. I just started to have the same problem. Recently, I can't even turn on the drivers seat. When you click the button it shuts right off.

I found the same problem on my 05 Burb. Driver's side seat. Put a replacement heater in to fix the problem. There is a short in one of the wires on the drivers side seat that shorts out the connection. There are some good videos on the tube to show how to replace them pretty easily.

Thank you for the update. Where did you find the video to fix. Did you have to buy the part from a dealer?

The problem with my 2004 is the passenger side turns on full heat no matter what you set the switch at.
