heated seats issue

heated seats issue
I have a 2003 chevy silverado 4x4 and recently when I turned on the heated drivers seat, it would time out in about 30 seconds. If I activated the switch again it would do the same thing again. I did not try the passsenger seat. Where would one start in trying to find out what is the problem?
