Heater Question
I have an '00 6.0L and seem to have an issue with the heater. Sometimes when I turn the heater on and then try to switch it back to cool air it will still blow hot air. Even will blow hot air when the AC is on. However, if I turn the truck off and restart, then it will go-away. Any suggestions?

RE: Heater Question
Sounds like the heater air flow diverter door is sticking open.
It is operated by engine vacuum controlled by the HVAC control head on the dash, the vacuum is directed to the actuator via tubing.
This can be caused by a vacuum leak in the hoses or a faulty actuator or control head.
My bet is on the actuator valve.
