I have a 2001 chevy silverado ext cab 5.3l vortec. Everytime I would start up my truck, it will run good for about 5 -10 minutes and then it will putter out and die and then it won't start for a good 10-30 mins.

I have change out the fuel pump, Fuel filter, and then fuel pressure regulator, I had couple of mechanics help but they couldn't figure it out

Please if you have this problem or know of something of that matter please help.

 

You need to find out what it is missing while it will not restart. Fuel or spark then trace why. It must not have been to a real mechanic or one that can do diag as the problem should be straight forward especially when it will not start
