Default help my little v6 motor!

Hey guys. I need all the help i can get.
I'm still having trouble with the throttle on my 4.3 v6.
i keep finding that when i take it out of gear the engine races and does not idle back down. this is getting very annoying. please if you know of anything or have had any trouble with yours let me know! it also doesnt idle at 600 rpm like it should. it idles around 1,000rpm.

please help me!!!

Did you take the tb off? I had a similar problem, when I put it back on, I tightened the idle screw too far and it idled at 1000 rpms

That would have to do with the idle screw as well, i'd put it in drive and it would try to take off with out and gas. I could idle at 10 mph lol

Maybe but I would think it'd be just as cheap to go to a junkyard and pull one from another truck
