i have a 94 c1500 v6 4.3L 5 speed manual.so what trans can i replace mine wit. i need to change all gaskets on it. its leaking from front and real seals and on top where the gear shift level bolts to the trans. plus who knows how miles was on this. truck say 348K and every liquid ive drained out has been pure black including low trans fluid. but what im asking about is what all trans can i just replace it with? also to boot id prefer a trans i can install a quick shift. i cant seem to find one for the trans in it now and its like shifting a big rig. huge throws lol.
