I haven'e seen it on a NNBS yet. I've seen the aftermarket bumper replacements that the winch went in, and a license plate in front of the winch hook so you couldn't really see it.

I did it on my 95, I mounted it between the frame rails and I had to remove the front tag braket and notch the bumper. I then relocated my tag and mounted my fairlead into the tag braket for a clen look. The only bad thing was making access to the shift lever. I would think it was possible on an 08 somehow.

It looks like it is possible, im half tempted to just weld some tubing or square pipe up from the frame, put a universial winch plate on it and be done with it. I just dont care for the big brush guards and bumpers...

Another idea would be to mount a receiver hitch on the front and use a winch that fits into it.

I thought about that, but a few months ago I was duck hunting with a friend and we burried his truck and you guessed it, he didnt put the winch on before we left, sooooo, swore id never do that, because i live and work in the city and i wld be inclined to leave it off to keep it from getting snaged, and wld forget to put it back on!!!

Leave it on with a locking hitch pin.
