Default High beams inop

Hello everyone,
Have another a hope small issue with my 98 C2500 5.7 extended cab LB. 7-8 months ago I replaced the multifuction turn sig switch only because the cruise stopped engaging, that fix it. Ok now I have NO high beams, when I release my parking brake, my headlamp come on as designed. When I turn on Head lamp switch, my marker and tail lamps come on as designed. But when I try to turn on my high beam they do not come on. I hear the click in the switch but still no high beams, all other function assocated with the switch work fine. looking for area to try or replace? I was not sure if might be headlamp switch or multifunction switch or something else Im missing...

Thanks in advance

so you have low beams and daytime running lights, correct?

Have you checked for power at the wiring harness at the high beams?

sure. you could check at the switch if its easy to access. should be powered at the yellow wire into the switch and light green wire out of the switch to the high beams.

if your not sure both highbeam bulbs are good; check at the bulbs?

Probably a loose connection, and you fixed it when you checked it.

Ok, thanks for all the input... the problem was a bad headlight switch. I found it at night by accident. I was adjusting my dash lights using the wheel thingy..(lol) and eachtime I moved it, the highbeams with flash on / off. So a bad switch it is
