Default The Chevy that **** on all trucks

Well I never read all the posts on this thread and just joined the forum. Used to be a die hard dodge man due to my dad's past time with d100s and 318s growing up... till I recognized the errors in my ways. Lousy *** a500 auto tranny from dodge and various other problems ruined my live for dodge being a mechanic. Then the deal breaker rolled up. The beastly 4.3 powered wt 1500 my step dad drove. Had 260000 on it all original drivetrain and well everything when I first saw it years back. Bought it a while ago yo Fi d the odometer broke right before I got it..... at 550.
Chevy
Runs mother ****ing deep. Still all original. But lost the number 3 rod a couple weeks back

Something to talk about right there son. Chevy. It's a life style. Not just a truck

Default 2000 Suburban 1500 hits 500,000

I just hit 500,000 miles on my 2000 Suburban 1500, original 5.3 engine, changed oil every 5000 using just the Walmart brand. Uses about 1-2 qt between changes.

My 1996 GMC Yukon Z71 just rolled 240,000 miles on the original strong running engine. I did just get her back from having the transmission rebuilt though. She's got a 3 inch body lift and a 3 inch suspension lift. She's sitting on some Dick Cepek DC-2 rims wrapped with 35 inch Mud Claws. She drives really nice for a lifted truck. I don't have a heavy foot so I just roll around town in her and enjoy her. I am sure she'll last for many more miles and years to come because she's a great running truck.

What should I tune up on my 2008 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with 157k miles.i previously bought the truck two years ago and I have changed the plugs as well as the oil a few times.I also forgot to mention I rebuilt the whole front end due to the fact the parts were very worn. Will someone please tell me what I should tune up to keep my truck running strong.
