Cool How many hours should it take in a shop ?

Hey Guyz,

I have a "75" Chevy 3/4 ton Camper Special and my tilt steering column bit the dust.
Found a new column and going to take the truck to a shop to have it replaced.

My question is how many hours should I expect to pay for for removing the old column and replacing the new one I have ?

Anyone familiar with shop hour rates ?

welcome to our forums. to answer, partly, it takes me personally, bout half hour or so. a shop tho, probably go in the books as 2-3 hours. a fellow member here, MDTAHOE, works in a shop, might be able to shed better light.
