My 89 Silverado has over 225,000. Runs good, change the oil every 3000 miles. I expect another 200,000

The price is about right, but if you really want to know, start your own post

My 1990 Silverado C1500 has 203,000 miles. I thought that was a bunch until I saw that some of you guys have newer trucks with many more miles.

I just destroyed the differential gears but that'll be fixed soon.

Default 95 1/2 ton Z71

my 95 1/2 ton Z71 has 237,xxx on the clock. i purchased from a used lot at 224k, $2500 on sticker, $2900 after papers. unforunately i ran into a can of worms from the get go. Replaced 350 Tbi with a Jasper rebuilt: $3500. Trans rebuilt ~200k. My drivers side door is hanging on, sagging, bungee cord door handle! power windows out. I've got close to $7000 on my Silverado that's just about to roll over 250k. And counting. And i plan on having it for a long long time. some may think that's stupid, but to follow what everyone else said: "LIKE A ROCK"

I have two 1997 1500.
GMC with 250,000 miles daily driver for 13 years.
one with 170,000.
I expect 300K out of any Chevy truck
Change the oil and drive responsibly.
If something breaks, fix it right.

I paid $1500 for my 92 350 5 speed truck with 124k on it,literally beat the hell out of it, tried to blow it up, did burnouts, dry pavement donuts, abused it really bad. drove it to 200k miles, and got $2000 for trade in on my new one.
only thing i did to that truck was change the oil, a new oil pump so it would survive me, and a handfull of U joints lol.
I still see it driving around every so often.
worries me, i don think this rattly sounding L33 5.3L is gonna last as long, it hasnt seen any bad abuse yet....
