My son in WallaWalla just bought a 98 that is exactly what your describing it started out as a one ton crew cab 4 door long box 454. Here is what the custon shop did chopped the frame to install a short box, gutted the interior and installed all leather, put a half ton rear end complete, and then the new blue paint. This truck looks factory I have driven it and examined it inside and out. It all looks awsome oh by the way it is a 4x4 with an original Z71 side decal.
i just recently bought a 1997 crew cab z-71 built by centurion,it is just the truck i was looking for.my wife isnt too happy,she thinks that 4,500.00 was way too much to pay for it.would like to know as much about this truck as i can find.any help would be greatly appreciated.
nice truck,i just bought a 1997 crew same color.hadnt had time to start working on it yet,will be adding a 6" lift & 35" tires soon.this is my new baby replacing my 98 z-71 that i recently totaled.i paid 4,500 for it and think it was a fair price.i just wish i knew how rare it really is.
I bought this from the Dealer used and was going to just be a temporary truck, but someone told me it was worth some $$$ does anyone know what it is worth,I want to sell it so I can get a Suburban.
