Default i need help with my 91 gmc

my fuel pump isnt getting power and i found out that its part of the fuse for it. i guess the power going out goes straight to the pump maybe. but power in comes from the relay. how would i fix this because i just put a new relay in and a new thing where the fuse goes. would i just have to change the box looking thing that plugs into the relay and has all the wires going to it? if any one understands kind of please reply. i need all the help i can get lol.

Hi tonyjoe,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

I recently saw a fuel pump thread where the electrical harness connector to the fuel pump was badly scorched back by the fuel tank.

It wont cost you anything to carefully check all the wiring going to the fuel pump.

it is natural to rule things out just because they were repaired before, we r only human, i would sugesst soldering it and using heatshrink when done so this doesnt happen again
