I have found two silverados one is an 89 reg cab 1500 for $4500 it has a new rebuilt motor and is 4x4 also has rancho suspension and 33" kumho ats.The other truck is a 96 z71 ext cab with rancho suspension and 31" tires with 175000 miles on the truck there asking 4500 for it also.My question is that to high for an 89 model and is that to many miles on the 96 z71 I am buying one or the other and it'll be the first time I've ever owned a chevy truck so I want to make the right descion.thanks for any help

 

Well i have a 1997 z-71 with a 177000 miles the engine is still like new the only problem with these trucks is that all of them with the 4l60e tranny will go bad. Not a hard fix thou i would ask if the tranny has been worked on or not. The 96 engine (cpi) is way better than the 89 (tbi) engine.
