im thinking about buying a 1990 1500 Cheyenne V6 5spd. tomorrow, is it the same thing as the 1500 silverado? other than the front clip is there any difference? if i buy parts do ibuy for asilverado? i was looking on summite and there wasnt anything for this truck, but there wasALOT for the silverado..the guy said it was carburated and need's the injector's cleaned, so it has problems starting,would it be hard to convert it to a fuel injectedlt1/6spd? is there a kit?sorry about all the question's, i just want to know all i can about it before i buy it.. well all i know is that the diffrence between the chyenne and the silverado is that the chyenne doesn't have like power locks or power windows etc. its kind ofa bone stock silverado. About buying parts i would just buy for a chevy 1500 cause i have a 1990 silverado and i just say 1500 because some places don't have 1990 silverado in there system they usually say 1990 chevy c/k1500. but otherwise i don't know about those kits or any thing sorry about that and good luck.

 

ive got a cheyenne model and by fluke i parked next to a silverado so i thought id check out the diff, they looked identical, part wise i know theyre the same as with any relevent GM, the only diffs i noticed were the power everythigna nd sone interior things otherwise IDENTICAL same color and everything

 

the only differance is the trim ,also it cant have a carb and injectors at the same time ,prob throttle body injection for that year .
