- Chevrolet Silverado GMT900 How to Replace Fog Lights
Step by step instructions for do-it-yourself repairs.
I WANT fog lights on my 2006 LS Crew cab
#11
GM part # 10397999 lower front bumper deflector (valance) with fog light holes and tow hook holes. List price from my local dealer $96.39. I paid $72.29 + taxes in Febuary 2011 from my local chevy dealer. Add this to the approx. $100 above and your done. You can also cut the holes out of your original valance. The fogs do not mount to the valance, they mount to the bumper. Sand the back side of the hole until the plastic is thin on the edges, then trim them out with a sharp utility knife and your done. I bought a new valance because I also bought the lower front air dam that mounts under the valance. My original valance did not have the mounts for the air dam so I had to but one for a 2006/07. Save your money and cut the holes yourself.
