1994 Chevy Silverado ext cab 4x4. it has a keypad you punch in a code before it will start. The plastic keypad is so dry and cracked we turned it upside down and used it that way for awhile, but now those numbers are cracked making my daughter late to school and work. Does anyone know how to disable it or just put it in valay mode? I remember you had to push a couple of buttons at the same time - but can't find my paperwork. Obviously, when I call the garage - no one wants to give me info - probabaly thinking I really don't own a vehicle... PLEASE HELP

 

Trace the wires from the keypad to under the dash and disconnect it. Splice and soder the original wires back together.
