1994 Chevy Silverado ext cab 4x4. We bought the truck in 95, it has a keypad you punch in a code before it will start. We disabled it years ago, recently had to change battery on truck and the keypad reset. Now, I have to punch in my 4 digit code every time before it will start. I don't know if the cord has a short or there is dirt under the keypad but is is VERY hard for it to accept my code each morning - causing me to be late for work. Anyone out there remember how to disable it? Its been so long - I can't remember which buttons you push.
