we recently purchased an 04 chevy silverado 1500 ls model and i would like to purchase fog lights for same. i am confused, does this truck come with the necessary wiring already or do you have to buy the complete fog light kit w/wiring harness, also, someone mentioned that when you install fog lights on this vehicle, the body control module has to be reprogrammed. can anyone help me with this question.

 

um... you have to run the whole wiring kit i think?

 

I bought a foglight kit on ebay for my 2003 silverado. The kit was from the factory so everything looks like oem. The kit includes everything you need to install it. I did not have to reprogram anything, even through the instructions say so.
