Default Keyless remote

When i bought my truck it came with 2 remotes, neither worked. Well the other day i found them and i just changed out the batteries. I know the steps to sync them and followed them to the letter. For some reason, at the end, when your supposed to hold down the lock and unlock on the remote, it wont sync. i held it down on both remotes for 2mins and nothing happened. The doors unlock and lock when i turned the key off on off on, but nothing after that. Any ideas? Trucks a 2002 2500hd

If they're the original ones that came with the truck then they shouldn't need to be synced. I didn't have any luck when tryin to do that to my girlfriends dad's truck. Best bet would be to take it to the dealer and have them do it.

There are instructions on the internet that show how to sync new fobs to thew car or truck. They have to be compatible to the truck.

They may be the incorrect ones for the truck, My2001 2500hd uses GM/UTA 15732803
Check to make sure they are correct
