knocking problem 1900gmc 2500 5.0L
there is a knocking problem on my 1990 chevy 2500. t starts to knock after it get up to temp when i stop or slow down there is a really loud knocking noise. what could it be

tap or knock? i'd be very hesitant to drive with knock. worn out valve seats.....
bad lifters, but that's tap, not knock.
water pump....
get stethoscope and try to pin point it. those are few bucks in Harbor Freight Tool.
